Industrias Bachoco, S.A.B. de C.V. was incorporated on February 8, 1980 under the laws of the United Mexican States. The Company, through its subsidiaries is engaged in breeding, processing and marketing of poultry, swine and other products. It conducts operations in U.S and Mexico. It owns and manages more than a thousand facilities, organized in nine production complexes and 64 distribution centers in Mexico, and one production complex in the United States. Its main business lines include, chicken, table egg and balanced feed products. In Mexico, the Company's core business is chicken products. It also produces and sells a range of other products such as eggs and balanced feed. In United States, its sole business is chicken products. The Company's other business lines comprise of production and selling of live swine, beef and turkey value-added products as well as a laboratory that produces vaccines for the poultry industry. The Company's operations are subject to extensive federal, state and foreign laws and regulations.
