Tiger Media Inc. is a multi-platform media company operating in the out-of-home advertising industry. Through its subsidiaries, it provides advertising services in the out-of-home advertising industry. Out-of-home advertising refers to advertising media in public places, such as billboards, in-elevator displays, street furniture and transit area displays. It is a media operator of integrated outdoor billboard and LCD screen advertising network in China Its advertising network included high-impact billboards, neon signs and light boxes and street-level LCD screens located in key commercial and CBD (Central Business Districts) areas. It has coverage of approximately 50 cities, including larger cities such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Its core outdoor billboard are complemented by its street-level LCD screens network and furniture display, which together enables the company to provide multi-platform, 'one-stop shop' services for its local, national and international clients. The Company deploys its advertising network across select media platforms which include Luxury mall LCD screens, Outdoor billboard platform and Furniture display. Its advertising clients are from industries ranging from telecommunications, insurance and banking, to automobile, real estate, electronics, fast moving consumer goods, and entertainment and luxury goods. It competes for the advertising budget of advertisers with other operators of out-of-home advertising and operators of other advertising media including television, radio, newspapers, magazines and the Internet. The Company operates its business in China under a legal regime consisting of the State Council, which is the highest authority of the executive branch of the National People's Congress, and several ministries and agencies under its authority including the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, or SAIC, which regulates the advertising industry.
