Business Description

IEC Electronics Corp., ("IEC") was organized in 1966. IEC is a provider of electronic manufacturing services, ("EMS"), to advanced technology companies. The EMS industry specializes in providing program management, technical support and manufacturing expertise required to take a product from the early design and prototype stages through volume production and distribution. The Company provides electronic manufacturing services mainly for wireless communication systems, test diagnostic equipment, military and defense systems, transportation products, and medical systems and instrumentation. It utilizes a direct sales force as well as a nationwide network of Manufacturers Representatives. It is into the custom manufacture of high reliability, complex circuit cards, system level assemblies and an array of custom cable/wire harness assemblies. It utilizes state-of-the art, automated circuit card assembly equipment coupled with a full complement of high reliability manufacturing stress testing technologies. The Company's operations are subject to certain federal, state and local regulatory requirements relating to environmental, waste management, health and safety matters.
