In June 2007, it completed a merger pursuant to which the Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of TA Indigo Holding Corporation, a Delaware corporation formed by an investor group led by TA Associates, Inc., a growth private equity firm, and Rho Capital Partners, Inc., an investment and venture capital management company. In 2010, it changed the name of TA Indigo Holding Corporation to 'IntraLinks Holdings, Inc.' The Company is a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for securely managing content, exchanging critical business information and enabling inter-enterprise collaboration. The Company's cloud-based solutions enable organizations to control, track, search and exchange time-sensitive information inside and outside of the firewall, all within a secure and easy-to-use environment The Company helps its customers eliminate the inherent risks and inefficiencies of using email, fax, courier services and other existing solutions to collaborate and exchange information. In 1996, it introduced cloud-based collaboration for the debt capital markets industry and, shortly thereafter, extended its solutions to merger and acquisition transactions.
