Imperva Inc provides cyber-security solutions that protect business-critical data and applications whether in the cloud or on premises. Its products include database activity monitor, database firewall, and among others.

Imperva Inc was incorporated as a Delaware corporation on April 2002. It develops and sells data security solutions focused on providing visibility and control needed to neutralize attacks, theft and fraud from inside and outside the organization, mitigate risk, and streamline compliance. The Company's products include SecureSphere platform for enterprise data centers and cloud-based security services and Skyfence. SecureSphere platform secures applications and data assets in, physical and virtual data centers from hackers and malicious insiders. It addresses regulatory compliance and establishes a repeatable process for data risk management. It is designed on a common modular platform that provides centralized management, in-depth analytics and customizable reporting and offers multiple, flexible deployment options that are quick to deploy and easy to scale. The Company's solution includes Database Security, File Security and Web Application security. Database Security provides visibility and control over structured business data repositories, including database data usage, vulnerabilities and access rights and enables security, audit, risk and IT professionals to improve data security and address compliance requirements. File Security provides visibility and control over unstructured business data repositories, including file ownership, usage and access rights and enables security, audit, risk and IT professionals to improve file data security and address compliance requirements. Web Application Security protects web applications from cyber attacks, adapts to evolving threats to prevent data breaches and addresses compliance requirements. SecureSphere Web Application Firewall, Database Activity Monitoring and File Activity Monitoring gatgeways are deployed in the network near the assets to protect. The File and Database gateways also work in conjunction with SecureSphere Agents that capture activity on the database and file servers themselves. As of December 31, 2013, the Company had over 3,000 end user customers. The Company sells its products and services through a team of channel account managers, sales professionals and sales engineers who provides business planning, joint marketing strategy, and pre-sales and operational sales support. The marketing strategy is focused on building the Company's brand and driving customer demand for its security solutions. As of December 31, 2013, the Company had 11 issued patents and 11 pending patent applications in the United States. The security hardware appliance products are manufactured as per the Company's specification by Caswell, Inc., a Taiwanese original design manufacturer of network appliance hardware products.
