Jabil Circuit Inc was incorporated in Delaware in 1992. The Company is a provider of electronic manufacturing services and solutions. It provides electronics design, production and product management services to companies in the automotive, consumer lifestyles and wearable technologies, defense and aerospace, digital home, emerging growth, healthcare, industrial and energy, mobility, networking and telecommunications, packaging, point of sale, printing and storage industries. The Company provides its services to its customers with varying combinations of the following services: integrated design and engineering; component selection, sourcing and procurement; automated assembly; design and implementation of product testing; parallel global production; enclosure services; systems assembly, direct order fulfillment and configure to order; and injection molding, metal, plastics, precision machining and automation. The Company conducts its operations in facilities that are located in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Ukraine, the U.S. and Vietnam. Its segments are Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Diversified Manufacturing Services (DMS). The EMS segment is around leveraging IT, supply chain design and engineering, technologies largely centered on core electronics, sharing of its large scale manufacturing infrastructure and the ability to serve end markets. Its EMS segment includes customers in the automotive, digital home, industrial and energy, networking and telecommunications, point of sale, printing and storage industries. Its DMS segment provides engineering solutions and a focus on material sciences and technologies. Its DMS segment includes customers in the consumer lifestyles and wearable technologies, defense and aerospace, emerging growth, healthcare, mobility and packaging industries. The Company's customers include Apple, Inc., Cisco Systems, Inc., LM Ericsson Telephone Company, General Electric Company, Hewlett-Packard Company, Ingenico S.A., NetApp, Inc., Sony Mobile Communications, Inc., Valeo S.A. and Zebra Technologies Corporation. The Company competes against domestic and foreign electronic manufacturing service providers and design providers, including Benchmark Electronics, Inc., Celestica Inc., Flextronics International Ltd., Hon-Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., Plexus Corp. and Sanmina Corporation.
