Klabin SA was founded in 1899. The Company and its subsidiaries is engaged in the paper and pulp industry serving domestic and foreign markets, supplying wood, packaging paper, paper sacks and corrugated cardboard boxes. The Company's operating structure is divided into segments, which includes Forestry segment, Paper segment, Conversion segment and Pulp segment. The Forestry segment is involved in the operations for planting and growing pine and eucalyptus trees to supply the Company's paper plants. Also involves selling timber (logs) to third parties on the domestic market. The Paper segment is involved in the production and sale of cardboard, Kraftliner and recycled paper rolls on the domestic and foreign markets. The Conversion segment is involved in the production and sale of corrugated cardboard boxes, corrugated cardboard and industrial sacks on the domestic and foreign markets. The Pulp segment is involved in the operations of the Puma Project, which will comprise the manufacture and selling of pulp in the domestic and foreign markets in the future.
