Linear Technology Corp is engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing line of high performance analog integrated circuits for companies in diversified industries.

Linear Technology Corp is a Delaware corporation incorporated in California in September 1981. The Company is engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing line of high performance analog integrated circuits for companies. The Company produces power management, data conversion, signal conditioning, RF and interface ICs, uModule subsystems, and wireless sensor network products. The Company's product categories include; Amplifiers; High Speed Amplifiers; Voltage Regulators; Voltage References; Interface; Data Converters; Radio Frequency Circuits; Power Over Ethernet Controllers; DC/DC uModule Power Systems; and Signal Chain Modules. The Company's SmartMesh IP and SmartMesh WirelessHART technology offers wireless network based solutions using low power electronic components, board level products with mesh networking and software addressing high level applications including industrial process automation, data center energy management, building energy management, renewable energy monitoring, and transportation management systems. The Company markets its products through a direct sales staff and through electronics distributors to a range of customers in diverse industries. The Company's wafer fabrication facilities are located in Camas, Washington and Milpitas, California and it produce six-inch diameter wafers for use in the production of the Company's devices. The Company's basic process technologies include high-speed bipolar, high gain low noise bipolar, radio frequency bipolar, silicon gate complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and BiCMOS. The Company also has two proprietary complementary bipolar processes. The Company's competitors include Analog Devices, National Semiconductor, Intersil, Maxim Integrated Products and Texas Instruments. The Company's storage, use, discharges and disposal of certain chemicals and gases used in semiconductor processing is subject to federal, state and local regulations.
