Lululemon Athletica Inc is a designer and retailer of technical athletic apparel operating in North America and Australia. Its yoga-inspired apparel is marketed under the lululemon athletica and ivivva athletica brand names.

Lululemon Athletica Inc was founded in 1998. The Company is engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of healthy lifestyle inspired athletic apparel, sold through a chain of corporate-owned and operated retail stores, direct to consumer through e-commerce and through a network of wholesale accounts. The Company's primary markets are the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, where 211, 57, 26, and five corporate-owned stores, respectively, were in operation as at February 1, 2015. It offers apparel and accessories for women, men and female youth. Its apparel assortment, including items such as fitness pants, shorts, tops and jackets, is designed for healthy lifestyle activities such as yoga, running and general fitness. Its fitness-related accessories include items such as bags, socks, underwear, yoga mats and water bottles. The Company competes with wholesalers and direct sellers of athletic apparel, such as Nike, Inc., adidas AG and Under Armour, Inc. It also competes with retailers specifically focused on women's athletic apparel including The Gap, Inc., Nike, Inc., adidas AG and Under Armour, Inc. Its trademarks include lululemon athletica & design, the logo design, WAVE design and lululemon as a word mark. It owns trademark registrations for names of several of its fabrics and products including Luon, Silverescent, VitaSea, Boolux, Luxtreme, Luxchange, Groove Pant, Light as Air, and Power Y.
