On January 25, 2010, it merged with Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster provides ticket sales, ticket resale services and marketing and distribution globally through www.ticketmaster.com and www.livenation.com, numerous retail outlets and worldwide call centers. Ticketmaster serves clients worldwide across multiple event categories, providing ticketing services for leading arenas, stadiums, professional sports franchises and leagues, college sports teams, performing arts venues, museums and theaters. It is also a artist management company based on the number of artists represented. Its artist management companies manage musical artists and acts primarily in the rock, classic rock, pop and country music genres. As of December 31, 2013, they had over 60 managers providing services to approximately 240 artists. It over 129 million customers in its database based on visitors to www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com and its other online properties. They operate in five main industries within the live entertainment business, including live music events, venue operations, ticketing services, sponsorship and advertising sales and artist management and services. The Companys reportable segments are Concerts, Ticketing, Artist Nation and Sponsorship & Advertising. Its main competitors in the live music industry include Anschutz Entertainment Group, or AEG, and C3 Presents, in addition to numerous smaller regional companies and various casinos in North America and Europe.
