ManTech International Corporation was founded in 1968. The Company offers innovative technologies and solutions for mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence Community, the departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security and Justice, the Space Community and other U.S. federal government customers. It supports critical national security programs for approximately 50 federal agencies through approximately 1,000 current contracts. The Company's main focus is on national security and homeland defense customers, the largest of which, the Department of Defense (DoD), is the purchaser of services and solutions in the federal government. It supports major national missions, such as military readiness, terrorist threat detection, information security and border protection. It also includes systems engineering and integration, software services, enterprise architecture, information operations and computer forensics, information assurance and security architecture, intelligence operations and analysis support, cyber security, network and critical infrastructure protection, information technology, communications integration and engineering support; and global logistics and supply chain management. On November 15, 2011, it acquired Worldwide Information Network Systems, Inc. (WINS) for $90.0 million. The Company owns nine patents in the United States and two patents in Canada. It provides its services and solutions under three types of contracts: cost-reimbursable; time-and-materials; and fixed-price. Its customers are U.S. federal government intelligence, military, space and civilian agencies.
