Medical Action Industries was incorporated in New York in 1977, and was reincorporated in Delaware in 1987. The Company develops, manufactures, markets and supplies a variety of disposable medical products. Its products include custom procedure trays; minor procedure kits and trays; operating room disposables and sterilization products; dressings and surgical sponges; patient bedside products; containment systems for medical waste; and laboratory products. These products are marketed primarily to acute care facilities throughout the U.S and certain international markets by its direct sales personnel as well as through an extensive network of health care distributors.
