Moog Inc is a designer, manufacturer and integrator of precision motion and fluid controls and systems for applications in aerospace and defense, and industrial markets.

Moog Inc is a New York corporation formed in 1951. The Company is a designer, manufacturer and systems integrator of high performance precision motion and fluid controls and controls systems for applications in aerospace and defense and industrial markets. In the aerospace and defense market, its products and systems include: Defense market - primary and secondary flight controls for military aircraft, stabilization and automatic ammunition loading controls for armored combat vehicles, tactical and strategic missile steering controls and gun aiming controls; Commercial aircraft market - primary and secondary flight controls for commercial aircraft; and Commercial space market - satellite positioning controls and thrust vector controls for space launch vehicles. In the industrial market, its products are used in applications including: Industrial automation market - injection molding, metal forming, heavy industry, material and automotive testing and pilot training simulators; Energy market - wind energy, power generation and oil and gas exploration; and Medical market - enteral clinical nutrition and infusion therapy pumps, CT scanners and ultrasonic sensors and surgical handpieces. The Company has four segments: Aircraft Controls, Space and Defense Controls, Industrial Systems and Components. The Aircraft Controls segment designs, manufactures and integrates primary and secondary flight controls for military and commercial aircraft and provide aftermarket support. Its systems are used on both development and production programs in commercial transports, supersonic fighters, multi-role military aircraft, business jets and rotorcraft. It also supplies ground-based navigation aids. The Space and Defense Controls segment provides controls for satellites, space vehicles, launch vehicles, armored combat vehicles, tactical and strategic missiles, security and surveillance and other defense applications. It designs, manufactures and integrates commercial and military satellite positioning controls. These propulsion and actuation systems and the components control attitude, orbit insertion, solar panels and antennas. It also designs, manufactures and integrates steering and propulsion controls for space launch vehicles, such as the Atlas, Delta and Ariane platforms. Additionally, it designs and manufactures spaceflight electronics and software. It is also developing new control products and systems for a variety of programs related to manned spaceflight including: NASA's new Space Launch System, Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and Soft Capture System. Within its defense market, it designs controls for gun aiming, stabilization & automatic ammunition loading for armored combat vehicles for a variety of domestic & international customers. It also designs controls for steering tactical & strategic missiles including: Lockheed Martin's Hellfire, the U.S. National Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense initiatives & Raytheon's TOW & Tr
