The Company provides environmental solutions to customers focused on the development and ongoing production of oil and natural gas from shale formations. Nuverra provides one-stop, total environmental solutions, including delivery, collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal of water, wastewater, waste fluids, hydrocarbons, and restricted solids that are part of the drilling, completion, and ongoing production of shale oil and natural gas. The Company's operations are subject to stringent United States federal, state and local laws and regulations regulating the discharge of materials into the environment or otherwise relating to health and safety or the protection of the environment.
