NICE-Systems Ltd. was originally incorporated as NICE Neptun Intelligent Computer Engineering Ltd. on September 28, 1986 and was renamed to NICE-Systems Ltd. on October 14, 1991. It is a global provider of advanced solutions that enable enterprises and security organizations to extract insight from interactions, transactions and surveillance to drive business performance and ensure safety and security. Its solutions enable companies and public organizations to capture, manage, analyze and impact unstructured interaction as well as transactional data, enabling such entities to comply with internal and governmental regulations, enhance business and operational performance and address security threats while increasing situational awareness. Its solutions include integrated, scalable, cross-channel recording platforms, cross-channel real-time analytics, and software management applications. These solutions address critical business processes and risk management, compliance procedures and security needs of enterprises and security organizations. Its solutions facilitate faster decision-making and real-time analysis and actions, improving business and Employee performance, reducing exposure to transactional risks related to financial crime (fraud detection and Anti Money Laundering, or AML), operational risk and compliance activities, and enhancing security and public safety. Its enterprise customers span a variety of industries, such as financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, outsourcers, retail, media, travel, service providers, utilities and others. Its financial crime solutions mainly serve financial services organizations. Its security solutions are tailored to protect city centers, transportation systems, critical infrastructure, enterprise campuses and more. Its solutions are deployed at over 24,000 customers, including over 80 of the Fortune 100 companies. The Company plans to continue to address the growing unmet need to capture, manage, analyze and impact structured and unstructured data from multiple channels in a more accurate and timely fashion in a variety of business and operational environments.
