Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corpo manufactures steel & steel fabricated products. It offers steel plates & sheets, bar & rods, structural steel, pipes & tubes, steel slag, railway, automotive & machinery parts, among others.

Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp is a steel producer incorporated in Japan on October 1, 2012 by the merger of Nippon Steel Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. The Company is engaged in the steel making and fabrication business. The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in operating five segments including steelmaking, engineering & construction, chemicals, new materials, and system solutions. The steelmaking and steel fabrication segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of steel products. The engineering & construction segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of industrial machinery and equipment as well as steel structures, also performs construction works under contract, waste processing and recycling, and supplies electricity, gas and heat. The chemicals segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of coal-based chemical products, petrochemicals and electronic materials. The new materials segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of materials for semiconductors and electronic parts, carbon fiber and composite products, and products that apply technologies for metal processing and joining. The system solutions segment provides computer systems engineering and consulting services. The Company's products portfolio includes plate, flat products, bar & wire rod, construction products, pipe & tube, railway automotive & machinery parts, and stainless steel.
