NetEase Inc operates an interactive online community in China and is a provider of Chinese language content and services through its online games, Internet portal, e-mail and wireless value-added services businesses.

NetEase Inc was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on July 6, 1999, and it operates under the Cayman Islands Companies Law (2013 Revision). It changed its name from "NetEase.com, Inc." to "NetEase, Inc." with effect from March 29, 2012. It operates an interactive online community in China and is a provider of Chinese language content and services through its online games, Internet portal, e-mail and wireless value-added services businesses.
