National Bank of Canada provides financial services to consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations. It operates through three segments; Personal and Commercial, Wealth Management and Financial Markets.

National Bank of Canada was formed on May 4, 1859. The Company provides financial services to consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations and has branches in every province in Canada. It is also represented in the U.S. and Europe through its subsidiaries and alliances. The Company operates through three business segments; Personal and Commercial, Wealth Management and Financial Markets. The Personal and Commercial segment covers the banking, financing, and investing services offered to individuals and businesses as well as insurance operations. The Wealth Management segment comprises investment solutions, trust services, banking services, lending services and other wealth management solutions offered through internal and third-party distribution networks. The Other activities refer to treasury activities, including the Bank's liquidity management and funding operations, certain non-recurring items and the unallocated portion of corporate services.
