Quanex Building Products Corp manufactures engineered products such as window components that include flexible insulating glass spacers, extruded vinyl profiles, window & door screens, solar panel sealants & precision-formed metal & wood products.

Quanex Building Products Corp was incorporated in Delaware on December 12, 2007 as Quanex Building Products Corporation. The Company is engaged in the production of aluminum flat-rolled products, flexible insulating glass spacer systems, extruded vinyl profiles, thin film solar panel sealants, and precision-formed metal and wood products which serve the North American building products markets. The Company uses low-cost production processes, and engineering and metallurgical expertise to provide customers with specialized products for specific applications. The Company's businesses are managed in three segments: North American Engineered Components segment comprised of four operating segments primarily focused on the fenestration market in North America manufacturing vinyl profiles, insulating glass spacers, screens & other fenestration components; European Engineered Components segment comprised of United Kingdom-based vinyl extrusion business, manufacturing vinyl profiles and conservatories, and the European insulating glass business manufacturing IG spacers; and North American Cabinet Components segment comprised solely of the North American cabinet door and components business acquired in November 2015. The Company is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations concerning the discharge of materials into the environment and the remediation of chemical contamination.
