Arista Networks Inc with its subsidiaries is a supplier of cloud networking solutions that use software innovations to address the needs of large-scale Internet companies, cloud service providers and next-generation enterprise.

Arista Networks Inc was formed in incorporated in October 2004 in the State of California under the name Arastra, Inc. In March 2008, it was reincorporated in the State of Nevada and in October 2008 changed its name to Arista Networks, Inc. Macro Segmentation Services ("MSS") to provide automated insertion of security and other in-line layer 4-7 services within any software driven cloud networking infrastructure. The Company was again reincorporated in the state of Delaware in March 2014. The Company, with its subsidiaries is a supplier of cloud networking solutions that use software innovations to address the needs of large-scale Internet companies, cloud service providers and next-generation enterprise. Its cloud networking solutions consist of its Extensible Operating System, a set of network applications and its 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet switches. The Company offers broadest product lines of data center 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet switches in the industry, comprising its 7050 Series and 7150 Series top-of-rack switches, its 7250X Series and 7300 Series SPLINE switches and its 7500 Series spine switch. The Company has delivered its cloud networking solutions to approximately 2,340 end customers in over 50 countries. Its end customers span industries and include Internet companies, service providers, financial services organizations, government agencies, media and entertainment companies and others. Its customers include Facebook, Microsoft and Yahoo!, financial services organizations such as Barclays, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, and a number of media and service providers, including Comcast, Equinix, ESPN and Rackspace. The Company owns trademarks in the United States and other jurisdictions, including Arista, EOS, CloudVision, Health Tracer, MapReduce Tracer, Path Tracer, MXP, RAIL and SPLINE. The Company competes with network equipment and system vendors, including Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Brocade Communications Systems, Hewlett-Packard and Dell. The Company's operations are subject to environmental laws and regulations governing the management and disposal of hazardous materials and wastes.
