Petrobank Energy & Resources Ltd., was originally incorporated as 1708589 Alberta Ltd., on October 24, 2012 for the purpose of a corporate reorganization by way of Plan of Arrangement with PetroBakken Energy Ltd., and the previous Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd. The Company is a development stage company engaged in the exploration and development of heavy oil in western Canada. The Company operates Kerrobert heavy oil project using its patented THAI heavy oil recovery process in the field. THAI (Toe to Heel Air Injection), is an in-situ combustion technology for the recovery of heavy oil and bitumen. The Kerrobert project along with Company's conventional oil operations are in the exploration and evaluation phase.
