GuruFocus Profitability Rank ranks how profitable a company is and how likely the company’s business will stay that way. It is based on these factors:

1. Operating Margin
2. Trend of the Operating Margin (5-year average). The company with an uptrend profit margin has a higher rank.
••3. Consistency of the profitability
4. Piotroski F-Score
5. Predictability Rank•

The maximum rank is 10. A rank of 7 or higher means a higher profitability and may stay that way. A rank of 3 or lower indicates that the company has had trouble to make a profit.

Profitability Rank is not directly related to the Financial Strength Rank. But if a company is consistently profitable, its financial strength will be stronger.

Profire Energy Inc is an oilfield technology company. The Company provides products that enhance the efficiency, safety, and compliance of the oil and gas industry.

Profire Energy Inc formerly Flooring Zone, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Nevada on May 5, 2003. It is an oilfield technology company. The Company provides products that enhance the efficiency, safety, and compliance of the oil and gas industry. It specializes in the creation of burner-management systems, used on a variety of oilfield natural-draft firetube vessels, and sells products and services throughout North America. It designs, assembles, installs, services, and sells oilfield-management technologies. Its flagship products are burner-management systems that monitor and manage burners found throughout the industry. Its products provide numerous benefits to customers including improved efficiency, increased safety, and enhanced compliance with evolving industry regulation. It also sells related products such as flare ignition systems, fuel train components, secondary airplates, valve actuators, solar packages, and chemical-management systems. Oilfield vessels of all kinds, including line-heaters, dehydrators, separators, treaters, amine reboilers, free-water knockout systems, & among others require sources of heat to satisfy their various functions, which is provided by a burner flame inside the vessel. This burner flame is integral to the proper function of the oilfield vessel because these vessels use the flame's heat to help separate, store, transport and purify oil and gas (or even water). Its products and services aid oil and gas producers in the safe and efficient production and transportation of oil and natural gas. The Company is subject to various other federal, state, local and foreign laws and regulations.
