The Bank encounters competition from diversified financial institutions, ranging in size from small banks to the nationwide banks operating in its region. The Company is subject to supervision by the Federal Reserve Board. The Bank, as a state-chartered financial institution, is subject to supervision, regulation and examination by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking.
