Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. was incorporated as an Ohio corporation in 1998. The Company performs industrial supply chain logistics and diversified manufacturing through three operating segments: supply technologies, aluminum products and manufactured products. The Company's supply technologies business provides its customers with proactive solutions that manage the efficiencies of supplying production parts and materials to its customers' manufacturing floor, ranging from strategic planning to program implementation. Total supply management includes such services as engineering and design support, part usage and cost analysis, supplier selection, quality assurance, bar coding, product packaging and tracking, just-in-time and point-of-use delivery, electronic billing services and ongoing technical support. The Company operates around 45 logistics service centers in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Ireland, Hungary, China, Taiwan, Singapore and India, as well as production sourcing and support centers in Asia. Through its supply chain management programs, Park-One supplies more than 190,000 globally-sourced production components, many of which are customized to meet individual customers' needs. The Company's aluminum products business manufactures aluminum engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and other components for automotive, agricultural, construction, marine, and heavy-duty truck markets on a sole-source basis. Aluminum Products' main products include front engine covers, cooling modules, control arms, knuckles, pump housings, clutch retainers and pistons, master cylinders, pinion housings, oil pans and flywheel spacers. In addition, the Company provides value-added services such as design engineering, machining and part assembly. The manufactured products segment operates a group of niche manufacturing businesses that design and manufacture a range of highly-engineered products, including induction heating and melting systems, pipe threading systems, rubber products and forged and machined products. The Company manufactures these products in eleven domestic facilities and nine international facilities located in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, China and Japan. The supply technologies segment markets its products and services in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Western and Eastern Europe and East and South Asia mainly through its direct sales force, which is assisted by application engineers who provide the technical expertise necessary to assist the engineering staff. The aluminum products segment markets and sells its products in North America through internal sales personnel and independent sales representatives. Sales in the manufactured products segment occur in North America through both internal sales personnel and independent sales representatives.
