Pinnacle Financial Partners, Inc. is a bank holding company whose main business is conducted by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pinnacle National Bank or Pinnacle National. The Company along with its subsidiary provides a full range of banking services in its main market areas of the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin, Tennessee and Knoxville, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Areas. The firm operates as a community bank primarily in the urban markets of Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee. The Company offers lending products, including commercial, real estate and consumer loans to individuals and small-to medium-sized businesses and professional entities. It also makes a variety of loans to individuals for personal, family, investment and household purposes, including secured and unsecured installment and term loans, residential first mortgage loans, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit. The Company seeks to establish a base of core deposits, including savings, checking, interest-bearing checking, money market and certificate of deposit accounts. Both Pinnacle Financial and Pinnacle National are subject to state and federal banking laws and regulations that impose restrictions on and provide for general regulatory oversight of Pinnacle Financial's and Pinnacle National's operations.
