Partner Communications Co Ltd was incorporated in Israel under the laws of the State of Israel on September 29, 1997. The Company is an Israeli telecommunication company, providing cellular and fixed-line telecommunication services. It offers its subscribers technologies and services that are advanced cellular data services through external or internal (in laptops) cellular modems, tablets and smartphones as well as competitive tariff plans. It markets its services under the Orange brand. The Company currently operates its GSM network in the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands and the UMTS network in the 2100 MHz band and experimentally in the 900 MHz band. Its GSM services include standard and enhanced GSM services, as well as value-added services and products such as roaming, voice mail, voice messaging, color picture messaging, ringtone and game downloads, information services, and General Packet Radio Services (GPRS), which enables the packet transfer of data. Its 3G network offers services, such as video calls, a portal of content services including a rich selection of video-based services, and the transmission of data. The Company operates in two segments: Cellular Services and Fixed-line Services. The Cellular Services segment provides both GSM/GPRS network and UMTS/HSPA/ HSPA + network. Its basic offers includes domestic mobile calls, international dialing, roaming, voice mail, short message services, intelligent network services such as VPN and funtone, content based on its cellular portal, data and fax transmission, mobile broadband and other services. The Fixed-line Services segment offers ISP services as well as home Wi-Fi networks, ILD services, transmission services and VoB telephony services. The Company sells its products and services through direct and indirect sales channels. It competes with Cellcom, Pelephone, HOT Mobile, and Golan Telecom.
