Remedent Inc is engaged in the research, development, and manufacturing of oral care and cosmetic dentistry products.

Remedent, Inc. was originally incorporated under the laws of Arizona in September 1996 under the name Remedent USA, Inc. The Company designs, develops, manufactures and distributes cosmetic dentistry products. Its products are distributed in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the United States. It currently has three primary products: 'River 8' veneer, a 'prefab' veneer, Whitening Products and GlamSmile Veneers. The Company manufactures products in its facility in Ghent, Belgium, as well as through outsourced manufacturing in Ghent, China and France. As it markets dental products which are legally defined to be medical devices, it is considered to be a medical device manufacturer and as such it is subject to the regulations of, among other governmental entities, the United States Food and Drug Administration and the corresponding agencies of the states and foreign countries in which it sells its products.
