REXAM PLC is a global consumer packaging group and a global beverage can maker. It serves a number of markets including the beverage, personal care, healthcare and food markets. It offers a range of packaging services and solutions for different industries, using different materials and technologies. For the Personal Care market, its portfolio of dispensing systems includes samplers, lotion pumps, fragrance pumps and foam pumps. It is also manufactures plastic packaging solutions for beauty customers worldwide, with global positions in spray samplers, lipstick cases, fragrance closures, compacts, mascaras and fine-mist pumps. Its main business operations are Beverage Cans and Plastic Packaging. In all, it has 83 manufacturing facilities in 25 countries in Europe, North and South America and the Asia Pacific rim. For the beverages market it manufactures cans, making approximately 57 billion cans each year. In Healthcare, it manufactures a range of solutions to protect and deliver pharmaceuticals. This includes delivery devices such as insulin pens, asthma inhalers and pumps as well as regulatory compliant bottles and closures. It offers a unique range of technologies for cosmetic solutions for fragrance, facial care, samplers and color cosmetics. The Company provides its customers with comprehensive custom manufacturing services, including extensive product design and finishing services such as packaging assembly and decoration to supply the household care market with closures for laundry care and air fresheners. It develops and manufactures high barrier rigid plastic containers for ambient shelf stable foods in the US and Europe. Products include multi layer high barrier bowls and trays for foods such as baby food, ready meals, fruits and vegetables, soups, sauces, snacks and pet foods. It has plants in various European locations including Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the UK. It also has plants in Egypt and China and joint ventures in South Korea and India. The Company manufactures plastic packaging solutions in Europe and the US for pharmaceutical customers worldwide.
