Realogy Holdings Corp was incorporated on December 14, 2006 in the State of Delaware. The Company is a provider of residential real estate services in the United States. The Company is a franchisor of residential real estate brokerages with some of the recognized brands in the real estate industry. Its primary objective as the franchisor of residential real estate brokerages in the world are to sell new franchises, retain existing franchises, create or acquire new brands and, importantly, provide branding and support to franchisees. It is the owner of U.S. residential real estate brokerage offices, and a global provider of outsourced employee relocation services and a significant provider of title and settlement services. The Company reports its operations in four segments, each of which receives fees based upon services performed for its customers; Real Estate Franchise Services ("RFG"), Company Owned Real Estate Brokerage Services ("NRT"), Relocation Services ("Cartus") and Title and Settlement Services ("TRG"). The Real Estate Franchise Services is a franchisor of residential real estate brokerages through its portfolio of well-known brokerage brands, including Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, ERA, Sotheby's International Realty and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. As of December 31, 2013, its real estate franchise systems approximately have 13,700 offices worldwide in 103 countries and territories. The Company Owned Real Estate Brokerage Services owns and operates residential real estate brokerage business in the U.S. under the Coldwell Banker, Sotheby's International Realty, ERA, The Corcoran Group and Citi Habitats brand names. It offers full-service residential brokerage services through more than 700 company owned brokerage offices with approximately 42,300 independent sales agents in more than 40 of the 100 largest metropolitan areas of the United States., it also assist landlords and tenants through property management and leasing services. The Relocation Services is a global provider of outsourced employee relocation services and also operates in key international relocation destinations. It offers world-class employee relocation services designed to manage all aspects of an employee's move to facilitate a smooth transition in what otherwise may be a complex and difficult process for the employee and employer. It also service affinity organizations such as insurance companies and credit unions that provide services to its members. The Title and Settlement Services assist with the closing of real estate transactions by providing full-service title and settlement services to customers, real estate companies, including Company's owned real estate brokerage and relocation services businesses, as well as a targeted channel of large financial institution clients, including PHH. It also coordinates a nationwide network of attorneys, title agents and notaries to service financial institution client
