Rudolph Technologies Inc is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and support of defect inspection, advanced packaging lithography, thin film metrology, and data analysis systems and software used by microelectronics device manufacturers.

Rudolph Technologies Inc was incorporated in New Jersey in 1958 and was reincorporated in Delaware in 1999. The Company is engaged in designing, development, manufacturing and support of process control defect inspection and metrology, advanced packaging lithography, and data analysis systems and software used by microelectronics device manufacturers. It provide process and yield management solutions used in both wafer processing and final manufacturing through a family of standalone systems for macro-defect inspection, lithography, probe card test and analysis, and transparent and opaque thin film measurements. All the company's systems feature sophisticated software and production-worthy automation. In addition, its advanced process control software portfolio includes powerful solutions to enhance productivity and achievecost savings. Its manufacturing activities include assembly, final test and calibration. These activities are conducted in its manufacturing facilities in Bloomington, Minnesota and Wilmington, Massachusetts. Its core manufacturing competencies include electrical, optical and mechanical assembly and testing, as well as the management of new product transitions. The Company competes with KLA-Tencor, Camtek and Ultratech, Nanometrics, Nova Measuring Instruments and Nikon. The Company's operations are subject to taxation in the United States and various other countries.
