Boston Beer Co Inc is engaged in the business of selling low alcohol beverages in the United States. The Companys beers are mainly positioned in the Better Beer category of the beer industry.

Boston Beer is the publicly traded domestic craft brewer in the U.S. and is known for its flagship brand, Samuel Adams. Sam Adams competes in the above-premium end of the beer market against imports, domestic craft brews, and specialty beers. The company also markets Twisted Tea (a flavored malt beverage) and Angry Orchard ciders.
