SKF Group was founded in 1907. The Company is a supplier of products, solutions and services within rolling bearings, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems. Its services include technical support, maintenance services, condition monitoring, asset efficiency optimization, engineering consultancy and training. The Company has three reportable operating segments namely Strategic Industries, Regional Sales and Service, and Automotive. Both Strategic Industries and Regional Sales and Service serve the industrial market by delivering products, services and solutions to both OEMs and end users within the different industries: Aerospace, Energy, Industrial drives, Precision, Railway, Off-highway, Lubrication systems, Industrial distribution, General industries (Automation, Machine tool, Medical) and Heavy and Special industry (Metals, Pulp and Paper, Mining and Cement, Food and Beverage and Marine). Automotive serves the automotive market by delivering products, services and solutions to both OEMs and end users within the different industries; Powertrain and Electrical and Two-wheelers, Car Chassis, Trucks, Sealing Solutions and Vehicle Service Market (VSM). The Company's other operations include businesses managed outside of the three divisions, mainly PEER, GBC, SKF Logistics Services and other minor operations. The Company sells its products through a network of distributors in North America, Europe and Asia.
