Simulations Plus Inc was incorporated on July 17, 1996. The Company designs and develops pharmaceutical simulation software to promote cost-effective solutions to a number of problems in pharmaceutical research and in the education of pharmacy and medical students. The Company also develops and sell a productivity software program called Abbreviate. The Company currently offers five software products for pharmaceutical research: ADMET Predictor, MedChem Designer, MedChem Studio, DDDPlus, and GastroPlus. A sixth product, MembranePlus, is well along in development with testing and validation studies under way. It plans to release MembranePlus by March 2014. The Company currently offers five software products for pharmaceutical research: ADMET Predictor, MedChem Studio, MedChem Designer, DDDPlus, and GastroPlus. The Company markets its pharmaceutical software and consulting services through attendance and presentations at scientific meetings, exhibits at trade shows, seminars at pharmaceutical companies and government agencies, through its web pages on the Internet, and using various communication media to the Companys compiled database of prospect and customer names. The Company competes against a number of established companies that provide screening, testing and research services, and products that are not based on simulation software.
