Surrey Bancorp is a bank holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiary, provides comprehensive individual & corporate financial services. These services include demand & time deposits, commercial, installment, mortgage & among others.

Surrey Bancorp was incorporated on July 15, 1996 in North Carolina. The Company along with its subsidiary, provides individual and corporate financial services through its main and branch offices in Mount Airy, North Carolina and branch offices in Stuart, Virginia and Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. These services include demand and time deposits as well as commercial, installment, mortgage and other consumer lending services, insurance and investment services. Deposits are derived from a base of customers in the Company's trade area. In the conduct of certain aspects of its business, the Company also competes with credit unions, insurance companies, money market mutual funds, and other non-bank financial institutions, some of which are not subject to the same degree of regulation as the Company. The Company is subject to regulation, supervision and regular examination by the Commission and the FDIC. The Company is also subject to regulation by the Federal Reserve. The Company is subject to regulation, supervision and regular examination by the North Carolina Banking Commission.
