The Company changed its name from 131277 Canada Ltd. to Stanley Engineering Group Inc on August 15, 1984, and from Stanley Technology Group Inc. to Stantec Inc on October 28, 1998. The Company provides professional services in the area of infrastructure and facilities for clients in the public and private sectors. The Company's services include planning, engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental sciences, project management and project economics for infrastructure and facilities projects. The Company's business segments are Buildings, Energy & Resources and Infrastructure. The Buildings segment comprised of services in architecture, buildings engineering, project management, interior design, and functional planning for vertical infrastructure. The Energy & Resources segment provides environmental services, industrial engineering services, project management, and construction management services for private sector clients.
