TeleTech Holdings, Inc, was founded in 1982 and reorganized as a Delaware corporation in 1994. The company completed an initial public offering of its common stock in 1996. The Company provides customer experience strategy, technology and business process outsourcing solutions for a variety of industries through its global delivery centers. Beginning in the first quarter of 2012 the Company aligned its operations around the following four business segments Design - Customer Strategy Services. This segment helps its client design and build their customer experience strategies. Enable - Customer Technology Services; Once the design of the customer experience is completed, the ability to architect, deploy and host or manage the client's customer management environments becomes a key enabler to achieving and sustaining the client's customer experience vision. Manage - Customer Management Services; the Company redesigns and manages clients' front-to-back office processes to deliver just-in-time, personalized, multi-channel interactions. Grow - Customer Growth Services offers fully integrated sales and marketing solutions to help its clients boost revenue in new, fragmented or underpenetrated business-to-consumer or business-to-business markets. The Company serves approximately 200 global clients in the automotive, broadband, communications, financial services, government, healthcare, logistics, media and entertainment, retail, technology and travel industries, many of whom are in the Global 1000, which are the world's largest companies based on market capitalization. The Company competes primarily with the in-house customer experience management operations of its current and potential clients. It also competes with certain companies that provide business process outsourcing services including: Accenture Ltd.; Convergys Corporation; Genpact Limited, Sykes Enterprises Incorporated, IBM and Teleperformance, among others. The Company's business is subject to extensive regulation by federal, state, local and foreign authorities, primarily relating to confidential client and customer data and customer communications.
