Tullow Oil PLC is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company is engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production and the sale of hydrocarbons and related activities.

Tullow Oil PLC was incorporated on February 4, 2000 and domiciled in the United Kingdom under the Companies Act 2006. The Company is an independent oil and gas, exploration and production group. The Company is engaged in finding oil in Africa and the Atlantic Margins, combined with selective development and high-margin production. Its portfolio of 120 licences spans 22 countries and is organised into three segments; West Africa, East Africa, and New Ventures. The West Africa region contributes to production and development projects in West Africa. The East Africa business is focused on commercialising the potential of the region through its onshore exploration campaigns and progressing developments. The New Ventures Business is responsible for frontier exploration and appraisal activity largely across Africa and Latin America.
