Valeo SA started in 1923 in Saint-Ouen (France). The Company is engaged in the design, production and sale of components, integrated systems and modules for the automotive industry, mainly for the reduction of co2 emissions. The Company is organized into four clusters and aftermarket activity. Propulsion Systems develops power solutions to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of CO 2. Systems Comfort and Driving Assistance develops an interface between the conductor systems the vehicle and its environment, helping to improve comfort and security. Visibility Systems designs and produces systems that provide the driver excellent visibility, contributing to its security and that of its passengers. The Company provides spare parts to vehicle manufacturers and the independent parts market. It offers all of the alternative networks in the world a wide range of products and services. At the end of December 2012, the company operates in 29 countries including Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, India, France, Mexico, Russia and many more. It works closely with the major automakers on all its markets. The Company has 125 production sites and 12 distribution sites.
