Viscount Systems, Inc. was incorporated on May 24, 2001 under the laws of the State of Nevada under the name OMW4 Corp. The Company, through its subsidiaries, manufactures, develops, and services access control and security products in North America. The Company is organized into two reportable segments: Manufacturing and Servicing. The manufacturing segment designs, produces and sells intercom and door access control systems that utilize telecommunications to control access to buildings and other facilities for security purposes. The servicing segment provides maintenance to these intercom and door access control systems. It offers intercom and door access control systems, and emergency communications systems for various applications, including condominium/apartment building access and intercom; residential intercom; gated home/community access and intercom; seniors/government housing access, tracking, and intercom; elevator access and tracking; and garage or perimeter gate control, and emergency communications. The Company manufactures electronic entry access panels that can operate using either the Enterphone system, or dial-up telephone company lines. The Company also provides multimedia embedded security hub, a software-based building management system that communicates with a network of input/output devices, such as card readers or building environment sensors. In addition, the Company offers enterphone system, a no phone line system; RadioClick and InfraClick, which are remote control products for doors and parking gates; EmerPhone, an intercom system that is used in elevator phone, emergency phone, and entry phone applications; and Entercheck, a card access system. Further, it provides support and maintenance services for its intercom and door access control systems.
