WEX Inc is a provider of corporate payment solutions. It also provides funding mechanism, among other services.

WEX Inc formerly Wright Express Corporation, incorporated in the year 1998. It provides corporate card payment solutions. The Company It operates in two business segments; Fleet Payment Solutions and Other Payment Solutions. The Fleet Payment Solutions segment provides customers with fleet vehicle payment processing services specifically designed for the needs of commercial and government fleets. As of December 31, 2013, the Fleet Payment Solutions segment serviced over 7.7 million vehicles. Its fleet cards are accepted at over 90% of fuel locations in each of the United States and Australia. The Other Payment Solutions segment provides customers with payment processing solutions for their corporate purchasing and transaction monitoring needs through its payment products. The Company also offers account management services including; Customer Service, account activation and account retention; Authorization and billing inquiries and account maintenance; Premium fleet services; Credit and collections services; and Merchant services. It markets its fleet products and services directly to commercial and government vehicle fleet customers with small, medium and large fleets, and over-the-road long haul fleets. It competes with companies that perform payment and transaction processing or similar services. The Company is subject to certain state and federal laws and regulations governing insured depository institutions and their affiliates.
