Want Want China Holdings Ltd was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 3 October 2007 as an exempted company with limited liability under the Companies Law of the Cayman Islands. The Company, and its subsidiaries, are principally engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of food and beverages. The Group's operations are mainly organized under four business segments, including manufacturing and sale of Rice crackers, including sugar coated crackers, savoury crackers and fried crackers; Dairy products and beverages, including flavoured milk, yogurt drinks, ready-to-drink coffee, juice drinks, herbal tea and milk powder; Snack foods, including candies, popsicles and jellies, ball cakes and beans and nuts; and Other products, including mainly wine and other food products. The Group's activities are primarily conducted in the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, and its products are also sold to the United States of America, Canada, countries in South-East Asia and Europe. It completed the "Want Want" brand trademark registration in the People's Republic of China (the "PRC") in 1989.
