It sells children's apparel, women's apparel and other categories such as toys, infant gear, kitchen accessories and home decor. In January 2010 the Company launched its zulily website. The Company, through its flash sales events, offers a selection of products on a daily basis. As of fiscal year ended December 29, 2013 the Company's assets are primarily located in the United States. Since the Company's vendors are smaller boutique vendors they work with the Company to gain their brand awareness and generate sales. The Company's supply chain solution efficiently handles inventory turnover. The Company has built technology solutions including as e-commerce, mobile applications, and customer messaging to improve the shopping experience of its clients. The Company competes with online and offline retailers, e-commerce platforms of traditional retailers and online marketplaces such as Amazon.com, Inc., eBay Inc., Target Corporation, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. among others.
