Escalade Inc was founded in 1922 and incorporated in Indiana. The Company operates in two business segments: Sporting Goods and Information Security and Print Finishing. The Sporting Goods segment is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of sporting goods brands in family recreation, fitness, training, and hunting products through traditional department stores, mass merchandise retailers, and sporting goods specific retailers. The segment consists of home entertainment products such as table tennis tables and accessories; basketball goals; pool tables and accessories; outdoor play sets; soccer and hockey tables; archery equipment and accessories; and fitness, arcade and darting products. In Archery, its brand names include Bear Archery, Trophy Ridge, Whisker Biscuit and Cajun Archery. In Table Tennis, its brand names include STIGA, Ping-Pong, Prince and Head. In Basketball Backboards and Goals, its brand names include Goalrilla, Goaliath, and Silverback. In Play Systems, its brand names include Woodplay and Childlife. In Fitness, its brand names include The STEP and USWeight. In Game Tables such as Hockey and Soccer, its brand names include Harvard Game, Atomic, Accudart and Redline. In Pool Table Accessories, its brand names include Mosconi, Mizerak and Minnesota Fats. In Darting, its brand names include Unicorn, Accudart, Arachnid, Nodor and Winmau. Its customers include retailers, dealers and wholesalers located throughout the United States and Europe. The Information Security and Print Finishing segment operates under the brands such as intimus and martin yale. The information security product line is primarily engaged in addressing information security issues including the decommissioning or destruction of data stored on optical, solid state, magnetic, and traditional media like paper to meet the increasingly strict security standards set by the National Security Administration, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Deutsches Institut fur Normung, the European Union, and many other governments and organizations around the world. Its products include: shredders, disintegrators, degaussers, paper folders, letter openers, and paper cutters/trimmers. Martin Yale and Intimus products and services are sold directly to end-users as well as through retailers, wholesalers, catalogs, specialty dealers, and business partners. This segment consists of products such as high-security data shredders, disintegrators and deguassers, and office machinery used in the office and graphic arts environment. Office environment products include folding machines; and paper trimmers and cutters. Its customers include end-users, as well as, retailers, wholesalers, catalogs, specialty dealers and business partners.
