Mueller Water Products, Inc., along with its subsidiaries is engaged in manufacturing and marketing products and services used in the transmission, distribution and measurement of water in North America.

Mueller Water Products, Inc., is a Delaware corporation incorporated on September 22, 2005 under the name Mueller Holding Company, Inc. It is the surviving corporation of the merger on February 2, 2006 of Mueller Water Products, LLC and Mueller Water Products Co-Issuer, Inc. with and into Mueller Holding Company, Inc. It changed its name to Mueller Water Products, Inc. on February 2, 2006. On June 1, 2006, it completed its initial public offering. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing products and services used in the transmission, distribution and measurement of water in North America. The Company operates in three segments including Mueller Co., Anvil and Mueller Technologies. Mueller Co., segment manufactures valves for water and gas systems, including butterfly, iron gate, tapping, check, knife, plug and ball valves, as well as dry-barrel and wet-barrel fire hydrants. Its brands include Canada Valve, Centurion, Hydro Gate, Hydro-Guard, Jones, Milliken, Mueller, Pratt, and U.S. Pipe Valve and Hydrant. It operates nine manufacturing facilities located in the United States and China and its operations include foundry, machining, fabrication, assembly, testing and painting operations. Anvil segment manufactures and sources products, including fittings, couplings, hangers and related products for use in non-residential construction (including HVAC and fire protection applications), industrial, power and oil & gas end markets. Its brands include Anvil, AnvilStar, Anvil-Strut, Beck, Catawissa, Gruvlok, J.B. Smith, Merit, and SPF. It operates nine manufacturing facilities located in the United States and its operations include foundry, heat treating, machining, fabricating, assembling, testing and painting operations. Mueller Technologies segment offers metering systems, leak detection, pipe condition assessment and other products and services for the water infrastructure industry. Its brands include Echologics, Echoshore, ePulse, Hersey, LeakFinderRT, LeakFinderST, LeakListener, LeakTuner, Mi.Echo, Mi.Data, Mi.Hydrant, Mi.Net and Mueller Systems. It operates one manufacturing facility in the United States and contracts with a manufacturing facility in Mexico. It designs, manufactures and assembles water metering products in Cleveland, North Carolina and designs and supports AMI systems in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Echologics designs leak detection and condition assessment products in Toronto, Ontario. The Company's products and services are used by municipalities and the residential and non-residential construction industries. The Company's products are made using various purchased components and several basic raw materials, including scrap steel, sand, resin, brass ingot and steel pipe. The Company faces competition from competitors including McWane, Inc., American Cast Iron Pipe Company, The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc., A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co., Ward Manufacturing L.L.C., ERICO International Corporation, Cooper
