    • It might be good for mr hargreaves to read a few of the Graham Partnership letters to find out how Ben actually invested the funds. Workouts, special situations and generals much like Buffett's.

It is always so discouraging to find statements in an article that display a lack of research. The 30 stock portfolio for net nets was a recommendation for diversification in that particular class of investment - not for the Graham portfolio as a whole. Graham considered the net nets as a basket representing 1 position.

    • Ford is a deep cyclical and only a P/B valuation matters. Deep cyclicals look cheap at the top when P/Es are single digit and yields are high, but that is the top for deep cyclicals. They soon start losing $$$ per share and trade down to a fraction as in 0.6 of book. They cut their dividends or eliminate them completely.

People that suggest otherwise are very dangerous to your wealth!!!
