On Thursday David Sokol who is seemingly the obvious choice for next CEO at Berkshire appeared on CNBC.

He spoke on the Netjets acquisition of Marquis Jet Partners and also had comments about the new investment managers at Berkshire Todd Combs.

One has to wonder if part of the reason for his visit wasn't to let the public know that Combs would start with a couple billion dollars to manage and that Mr. Buffett was still very much in charge of the other $100 billion or so.
