Over the years since starting in 2004, GuruFocus has created numerous screens for our users to generate the best value investing ideas. We have also created many powerful research tools for users to validate their ideas. These proven strategies/analyses have served our subscribers very well when they research the stocks that are traded in the U.S.

However, about 35% of our Premium Subscribers are from regions such as Canada and Europe. Some others are from Asia Pacific regions. We have received from these subscribers strong requests to extend the coverage of our strategies and analytical tools to international markets. Here we are. After many months of hard work and new data licensing on international markets, GuruFocus is going to release its Global Membership starting the week of Jan. 14, 2013. The first new market to be released is Canada.

These are the regions we will release in the coming months:

Canadian Markets (Release date: Jan. 2013)

Covers more than 3,800 stocks traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

UK/Ireland (Release date: Feb. 2013)

Covers more than 3,400 stocks traded on the London Stock Exchange (LSE)

European Markets (non-UK/Ireland) (Release date: March 2013)

Covers more than 20,000 stocks traded in 18 European countries, including Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Greece, etc.

Oceania (Release date: April 2013)

Covers 2,000 stocks traded in Australia and New Zealand.

Asia (Release date: May 2013)

Covers more than 20,000 stocks in 11 countries/areas, including China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.

All the value strategies/screens and valuation tools such as the DCF Calculator will work for these new regions. Therefore you will be able to check the most undervalued predictable companies in Canada. You will also be able to build a Buffett-Munger portfolio for Canadian companies. Or you can invest in the low P/S, P/B companies in Canada.

Read What Is in the GuruFocus Premium Membership? to learn more about these screeners, strategies and tools.

We are also adding Guru and Insider Trades information for these areas whenever available.

GuruFocus Global Membership is required to gain access to the stocks in the international markets. You can choose the regions you would like to subscribe to so that you don’t need to pay for the regions you are not interested in.

If you are currently a Premium Member, adding these new regions will not affect your areas of access. As a matter of fact, you now have more data on the stocks that are traded in the U.S., especially on foreign companies that are traded in the U.S., as newly licensed data provides wider coverage. If you would like to expand bargain hunting to international markets, we recommend you upgrade to Global Membership.

Currently we are offering an introductory price for the Global Membership of different regions. We encourage you to take advantage of introductory prices.

In the meantime, if you have any Gurus you would like to recommend for international markets, please leave the recommendation in the comment area below.

Currently we are looking to add Canadian Investment Gurus.
