Generac Holdings, Inc. (GNRC, Financial) is a leading designer and manufacturer of standby and portable generators for the residential, industrial, and commercial markets. Generac outperformed in the fourth quarter, as the company is expected to benefit from the sustained power outages related to Hurricane Sandy. Blackouts create awareness for temporary power solutions and drive adoption as people realize they cannot be without power. (Rebecca Ellin)
