I'm not sure Don Yacktman belongs on the Fast Money Halftime Show, because the last thing Yacktman is about is "Fast Money".
I think he gets the irony as well, given the first thing he makes clear in this and all interviews is that he is a long term investor and not a trader interested in making short term predictions.
His one big picture observation today is that the very large, very profitable basis look very attractive relative to the long term bond. He can't understand why anyone would prefer a Treasury Bond over some of his top holdings which pay dividends in excess of the 30 year.
