Sitka Gold Corp (SITKF) has kicked off its ambitious 30,000-meter drilling campaign at the RC Gold Project in Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. The project has seen significant early successes, with multiple instances of visible gold discovered in the initial drill holes of the summer field season. These findings include the first-ever visible gold observations at the Eiger deposit, a notable development for the company.

The current drilling campaign is set to significantly expand exploration and resources at the Blackjack and Eiger gold deposits. Additionally, the program aims to explore the Saddle zone, where geological studies suggest a potential linkage between the two main deposits. This year's drilling effort more than doubles the total drilling conducted by Sitka since 2020, highlighting the company's commitment to increasing resource estimates and uncovering new deposits.

The RC Gold Project consists of a substantial 431 square kilometer land package and is strategically positioned between the Eagle Gold Mine and the Brewery Creek Gold Mine. By the end of this campaign, Sitka Gold anticipates notable advancements in resource expansion, supported by the company's strong financial footing with over $24 million in the treasury and no debt.

Assay results for the current drill holes are pending, but the presence of visible gold offers promising prospects for the company's continued exploration success and potential resource growth within the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex.
